On August 24, Escape The Fate updated his Myspace. Was posted a countdown to zero missing four days, a new logo, a title, "Choose Your Destiny" ("Choose your destiny" in literal translation), and background music.
On the morning of August 29, Craig hashtags tweeter with the name of the new album, "Massacre," in a tribute to the fans, and two of euphoria (you can see by clicking here ) and link the site with little over two minutes to reset the count. Behold the count zeroed, and MySpace has been released, completely redesigned, with a new photo of the band and a new song of the same name for their third album, scheduled for November.
Furthermore, it was disclosed the name of the new single, "Issues" which will be released on U.S. radio in September.
To hear the new song "Massacre", visit the MySpace of the band.
The European tour of Escape The Fate gets even by 2010 and will perform with the Bullet For My Valentine! The ETF celebrates record contract with DGC / Interscope / Polydor with two shows scheduled in London last December, but first they visit Finland, Sweden, Germany ...
The guys left Epitaph Records, which released two CDs ever made by the group and Max said something about the production of the next job:
"This CD is the cure for the epidemic that plagues modern music. We are clearing the way and rewriting rock as you know! "
There is also the band's MySpace page, a new logo with a countdown timer below. The message that points to it says: Choose your fate. More information! We now expect - counting from now - two more days and nineteen hours to find out what the band reservation.
Just to close the post, there are update in the gallery and not blame us because we have new photos of Max there every news story, it is not our fault if the guy likes to use the phone's camera.
As you probably know, the brother of the Hill (Michael) goes playing with Escape The Fate. There's a new album just for him at the shoot site. Not yet taken a look?
So run, baby! Run!
+ Several new photos of the band with fans!
And some of the guys just passing the time:
Have fun with your eyes!
Fabian Coelho sent me an email with the facts of Escape The Fate in Curitiba. Also sent some photos and videos, thank you VERY Fabiane (Fernando and William too).
According to some sources, the band went to Sao Paulo by bus, and was not informed in which hotel spent little time in the city. Around 16 hours, arrived at John Bull Music Hall, where she went to the soundcheck. In a few breaks, chatted with fans, gave autographs and took pictures. Between 18.30 and 19h, the gates of the house were opened, and shortly after the band was the opening Braver.
At about 20h, Escape the Fate already climbed on stage. The setlist was not much different, but instead of It's Just Me, Ashley was played. On Something, Craig wore a handkerchief given by a fan to rope Max, and both gave a quick kiss. There were not many breaks between songs and another, soon the show was nearing the 21.30. The band left the John Bull at 22h and went to Batel Grill - except Craig, who preferred to lead some fans to a bar - to have dinner before returning to Brazil, where he departed the next day to Buenos Aires.
I bet many of you would kill to see that kiss, huh?? LOL
Luckily, the beloved Fabiane uploaded videos too, and here is the exact moment of the kiss (and many others too!) During the song 'Something'.

The site's Liberation Music Company posted talking about the band that will open the concerts of Escape The Fate in Brazil, just below you see the field:
ESCAPE THE FATE IN BRAZIL: BAND OF OPENING CONFIRMED
The band Bravo was confirmed as national representative in the Escape The Fate concert in Sao Paulo and Curitiba.
Everybody with your ticket in hand? Less than a week guys!
Escape The Fate made the cover of Alternative Press magazine in May. Below you see the scans and the report translated!
Is the world ready for an Escape The Fate kindest, gentleman and sober? Yes It's gonna happen.
You think you know.
Say what you will about Escape The Fate, but one thing you can not call them is boring. After six years, the polarization of screamo-rock attitude embraced the whirlwind of success, the change of members, and most notably, the arrest of their first singer. At least for now, it seems that the band left behind all this drama lately and are putting all their energy on their third album, promised for later this summer. We stuck with the lead singer, Craig, to know more about the CD will sound if the band changed their style and partying if they will bring this mysterious guy from behind the amplifiers.
You are preparing to enter the studio, as the new material compare to what you've done?
I would say that literally sounds more mature. Being in the studio with John Feldmann to do This War Is Ours [2008] really inspired Bryan ["Monte" Money, guitarist] to fit. He was used to record and do demos at GarageBands and this motivated us to continue writing. The last time I went in, we had a song ready, "The Flood." Now we will get twenty-three completely written.
There are some new songs on the CD that will surprise the fans?
Will definitely be different. I do not mean to be heavier, because it is heavier in the context of post-hardcore: it's just heavy industrial rock style of Rob Zombie / Marilyn Manson, not like the cliché of chugga-chug [kind of hectic hardcore]. I feel that if you hear it, does not understand the hidden meaning and find that we talk about relationships and farewells. I always tried in my career, doing songs like "ah, my girlfriend left me," and feel that is why some songs will not be so. In this CD, there are definitely some songs that mean a lot to us, they came straight from our hearts, on several different things. No matter if people do not like, we're just thrilled with the chance to make the album.
You also wrote a song with Mick Mars of Motley Crue for the new CD. How the partnership come about?
After we worked with Buckcherry on the last CD, they went on tour with Mötley Crüe. I think Mick has heard some of the guitar solos in our songs, studied them and wanted to work with us, so we went to his house and rehearsed song. I've practiced it every day. "Mars ETF" is how we describe it. [Laughs] We're definitely going to record it.
Speaking of which, who do you think would surpass the former Motley Crue-style partying?
Maybe we could meet them some day ... Some of us. I do not know, I still hear that Tommy Lee keeps on getting drunk, so we'll see.
Having heard all the stories passed on their habits of fun you've ever worried about the effects or what he will do after thirty years on the road?
I think it really has started to affect us. We are beginning to seize opportunities and move up the career: when these things begin to happen, you can not go on not giving a damn how it used to. I used to drink a lot before going on stage, so I went there and did the worst gig of my life. The boys were there to see us and we inspire many of them. I get messages that say you are my idol and I really watch you. And then I climb onto the stage drunk, ruined his night and disappointment? That sucks. I stopped drinking before we play.
Do you think the perception that his band is completely out of control is not necessarily true?
[Laughs.] When the festivities begin, things can even get out of control, but you end up learning from their mistakes. You always celebrate excessively until something goes wrong, and the first time you get into trouble, will celebrate a little less than it did before. But no, it's not like breaking out bottles at the head of police or the like.
It's our anniversary, you have some good memories about the AP?
Alternative Press magazine has always been important to me. First was that I bought to read about what my favorite bands were doing and why you were always on the Warped Tour. So I finally entered the market and she became the magazine that I read to know if anyone had commented something about me or my band, I always buy when I went to a store. The magazine covers the artist who make good music, but also those who are coming now. It's always good to know about what's new.
Have you ever met any band just by reading the AP?
Definitely. When I start a tour or hear something about a band to be going well, then I look for an article or story to get where they're recording. I remember discovering the Rise Records because of the AP, because you had two pages full of articles about the bands and remind them to ask me "that p * rra labels and that p * rra bands are those?". I ended up finding great bands and making great friends because of the AP, as the guys from Drop Dead, Gorgeous.
You know something about the move online 'Show Michael Money "? [Michael is the younger brother Bryan, who plays live with the band, usually hidden behind the amplifiers.]
No, I did not see anything.
The movement seems to be gaining some traction. Do you consider bringing it to the band as a fifth member?
It's something we talked about. We went through many member changes over the past three years, and Bryan and his brother are really happy about the way things are going. He is like a gunslinger - like that guy from Green Day [Jason Freed] - but he goes out and plays with us on stage. He is also in our new clip, you can see it there. It's good the way things are happening.
